RESEARCH INTEREST
Primary focus on three interrelated domains; (1) prevention and treatment of anxiety pathology, (2) investigation of biobehavioral parameters that affect the generation and maintenance of anxiety pathology, and (3) the relationship between anxiety pathology and physical health.

CURRENT RESEARCH 
Our laboratory has received funding from a wide range of organizations including the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the National Institute of Drug Abuse, Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, James and Esther King Biomedical Research Program, Military Suicide Research Consortium (MSRC), American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). In 2019, we have ongoing or new grants from NIMH, MSRC and AFSP. These studies focus on translational research, prevention, and treatment of anxiety psychopathology.
